The Office of International Education (OIE) provides leadership and advocacy in support of Georgia Tech’s strategic focus area Connect Globally, by encouraging student and scholar mobility, on-campus internationalization, and intercultural engagement, to help students become cross-culturally competent and globally-minded leaders.
Office of International Operations
The Office of International Operations (OIO) collaborates across the Institute to advance internationalization efforts, while maintaining compliance with local, national, and international regulations and policies. OIO offers strategic leadership, consultation, and direction for developing operations abroad.
Georgia Tech-Europe
The Georgia Tech-Europe (GTE) instructional site (formerly known as Georgia Tech-Lorraine) located in historic Metz, France, is Georgia Tech’s European hub for academics, research, and innovation. GTE offers year-round undergraduate and graduate degree programs by Georgia Tech faculty, providing students the opportunity to earn a Georgia Tech degree abroad. GTE also houses the Georgia Tech-CNRS IRL 2958 joint international laboratory and the Institut Lafayette, a center for innovation in optoelectronics.
Georgia Tech Panama
The Georgia Tech Panama Logistics Innovation and Research Center, located in Panama City, focuses on logistics and trade through applied research, education, and competitiveness. Its mission is to enhance Panama’s logistics performance and establish the country as the trade hub of the Americas, initiated by a 2017 partnership with Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá to create a joint Center for Research, Education, and Innovation.
